Easton Walled Gardens runs workshops from the Coach House throughout the year. Favourite courses include 2 day workshops such as willow weaving - making a deer or sheep for the garden - and botanical art courses. For details of our current course list visit the website here. Manor Farm Cookery School, Branston
Based in the Vale of Belvoir and less than half an hour from the Easton Estate, this excellent cookery school run by Diana Thompson offers tailored courses and regular themed cookery days throughout the year. We have really enjoyed doing the one day Japanese Sushi course and learnt a lot! Have a look at their website for inspiration.
fishing and sailing at rutland water
20 minutes drive from the Estate, this beautiful reservoir boasts trout, big pike and zander that attract anglers from around the country. Learn to fish with Rutland Fly Fishing Adventures, who offer everything from one-to-one tuition to full day fly fishing courses.
If you are new to the water you can learn to handle a boat or experienced sailors can hire boats from the Rutland Sailing School. The video give you a good idea of the beautiful surroundings of Rutland Water offering sailing for all abilities.
