A wonderful opportunity for you to stay in comfort in the famous Easton Walled Gardens, with free access to the Gardens at all times, even when closed to day visitors.
From early Spring 2018, we will offering more overnight accommodation at Easton Walled Gardens in the form of our exciting new loft conversions. Overlooking the beautiful Victorian stable yard, we are creating three loft apartments, each sleeping 2 people, offering the same standard of finish as our Holiday Cottages, but with the flexibility of being able to stay for single nights and with the choice of three different room sizes. All will have Super King double beds (or Twins if wanted) along with en-suites, and kitchen facilities hidden in beautiful cabinets, along with full access to the Gardens during your time here.
Easton's Loft Apartments form part of Grade II listed Stable Yard at Easton Walled Gardens and are the perfect solution for those who may be just passing through via the A1, those needing a base for a wedding or family event, or those who may want to stay a little longer and sample one of our courses at Easton Walled Gardens.
The Hay Loft has been recently converted and sensitively designed with a mix of original features and contemporary style. Inspired by our Holiday Cottages, the Hay Loft blends traditional country style with modern comfort to make the perfect place to stay when away from home. It will be the biggest of the three lofts, with a bathroom with bath and separate shower and its own access via stone steps.
There are two Coach House lofts to choose from. Each is available separately or they can be combined as a whole, giving flexibility to guests travelling with extended family, or with friends. The lofts are completely self-contained, but share an outside access door allowing them to be linked as one unit,f or families or friends travelling together, if desired. Coach House Loft 1 will have a bathroom with bath and over bath shower. The second Coach House Loft will be the cosiest of the three with an ensuite shower room.
You can wander out from the door into the surrounding rediscovered gardens of the former Easton Hall, and enjoy nearly 12 acres of beautiful grounds, with seasonal highlights from snowdrops to sweet peas, and from tulips and daffodils to roses and meadows.
You can also take advantage of the Gardens’ shop and tea room, or go a bit further afield to buy local provisions from Berry’s Farm Shop to eat at home, or visit the Estate’s Pub, The Cholmeley Arms, with its home cooked food, roaring fires and beer on tap.
We also run regular courses at Easton Walled Gardens, from Willow Weaving to Chocolate Making, which are perfect things to do while staying at the Lodge. See the Workshop Page on our main website for more details.
Breakfast is available at the pub on the Estate, The Cholmeley Arms in Burton-le-Coggles, a short drive away. These breakfasts are legendary and are well worth the trip. Pre-booking is essential, though, and it is best if guests book direct.
More plans will follow, but here is a taste of what we're planning. The overall feel of the Loft Apartments at Easton Walled Gardens will be similar to the other Holiday Cottages, with attention to detail and comfort top of the list.
