The Easton Estate
The Easton Estate is a traditional rural estate, set in the rolling countryside of the Lincolnshire/Rutland borders, between Stamford and Grantham. Owned and managed by the Cholmeley family since 1561, Easton is a contemporary estate run on traditional lines, incorporating arable and livestock farming; ancient woodlands; a fabulous garden open to the public; a thriving village pub and farm shop; and honey-coloured limestone cottages, two of which form our Holiday Cottages.
The site of the old Hall and its surviving buildings is now a thriving tourist attraction as Easton Walled Gardens, which incorporates one of our holiday cottages, The Gatehouse Lodge. Our second holiday cottage, The School House is in Burton-le-Coggles. The Pub, The Cholmeley Arms, offers a farm shop, accommodation and quality food and has become the heart of a village community.
At Easton we believe in involving people in our English country estate and its way of life, and providing products and experiences relating to the estate with individual care.
The Estate is managed from the Estate Office in Burton-le-Coggles, which can be contacted via the Contact page.
