We're sure that you'll find everything as expected at the The School House, but it's always good to hear what other Guests have thought.

"Enjoyed walks in the area with our 2 dogs. We came to visit family and relax and the cottage certainly allowed us to do that. Will return, great base to further explore the area and beyond." Dave and Pauline, October 2017

"We spent a lovely week here. The cottage is amazingly comfortable, we had the best nights' sleep the entire stay! Warm, cosy, comfortable and beautifully furnished and finished. The cake, sloe gin and other extras were a lovely touch. The area is perfectly placed to visit 3 counties and we made the most of the location." Barry and Julie, October 2017

"Fantastic cottage in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, well equipped place with beautiful features and details. We will return one day soon. Thanks for the drizzle cake!" Alex and Renata, September 2017

"Thank you for the lovely treats and warm welcome on arrival. We have enjoyed the local walks and dining in the pub. The cottage is perfect - don't change a thing!" Elizabeth and Roger, September 2017

"This is a gem of a country cottage set in a quiet, quintessentially English village - almost like stepping back in time. However, the cottage itself has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated to provide an extremely comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We have loved our time here - we had a lovely day at Easton Walled Gardens, enjoyed Geoff Hamilton's Barnsdale and visited RSPB Frampton Wash neat Boston. We ate every evening at The Cholmeley Arms - really good food and only a walk away! Thank you for a wonderful holiday (and the treats made it feel even more special!)" "A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a charming and beautifully presented cottage. Dining in The Cholmeley Arms has been a highlight along with trips to Barnsdale Gardens, Oakham - a charming town with excellent cafes, deli's and small boutiques, Rutland lake - also visited nearby Hambleton Bakery for superb bread and pastries from the onsite shop. Ice cream from the Lavender Hut and carrot cake from The Pantry, both in Corby Glen - both delicious". Mark and Diane, August 2017

"Very beautiful cottage, perfect getaway from the city. Immaculate on arrival, veg patch a highlight. Incredibly quiet which was much needed. First visit to Midlands and a very good one indeed. Our 5 month old baby loved it too. Thanks ever so much" Kelly and Tom, July 2017

"Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! The School House is a beautiful place, every room has its own charm and it is clear a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the accommodation. The School House is very homely, all the furniture is really comfortable and the bathroom is just spectacular. The Bose speaker is a particularly nice touch - great for listening to music in any part of the house. Just an excellent stay, we will definitely consider returning in future! Thank you again." Phil and Karunja, April 2017
